Pizza Movie (2026) Plot Summary

Pizza Movie (2026) follows a group of college students whose ordinary night takes a wildly unpredictable turn. After taking a drug with unclear instructions and wild rules, a craving for pizza becomes a fight against the system, sending them on an increasingly chaotic journey. What begins as a simple mission quickly spirals into a bizarre series of obstacles, strange encounters, and escalating misadventures that test their friendships, priorities, and sense of reality. Blending stoner comedy with absurdist humor, the film transforms a familiar late-night college experience into a surreal adventure packed with offbeat energy. As the search grows more complicated, Pizza Movie explores youth, impulse, and the ridiculous extremes people will go.

Who Will Enjoy Pizza Movie?

Fans of stoner movies and absurdist comedies with no boundaries will likely enjoy this one. This is absolutely not for people who can’t stand dumb humor.

Watch if:

  • You enjoy stoner comedies built around escalating absurdity.
  • You value surreal humor that fully commits to ridiculousness.
  • You’re open to juvenile jokes and intentionally dumb fun.
  • You don’t need narrative coherence to stay engaged.
  • You’re interested in a fever-dream college adventure centered on a quest for pizza.

Skip if:

  • You prefer structured storytelling with realism or narrative restraint.
  • You need sophisticated comedy over outrageous nonsense.
  • You get frustrated by repetitive gags or dumb humor.
  • You’re looking for a thoughtful coming-of-age story.
  • You dislike stoner-movie energy or surreal antics.

Pizza Movie Mini Review

Pizza Movie is equal parts pleasantly surprising and unequivocally dumb. You can probably watch any 10-minute segment of this film and find both the highs and lows of absurdist comedy. Creative hilarity is matched step for step by cringe-worthy, eye-rolling immaturity. It’ll have you belly laughing one moment and grimacing the next.

Jack Martin, as the RA from hell, is absolutely brilliant and easily the best part of this film. I’m not even joking—his performance is award-worthy. It’s layered, believable, energetic, and delivered with intense precision. It’s so good that it feels like he belongs in a different movie entirely.

My biggest criticism is that parts of the film, particularly early on, feel younger than intended. I’m not sure whether that comes down to the casting, the script, or a mix of both, but there are multiple moments where it feels more high school than college.

At the end of the day, this is a certified stoner movie with some Scott Pilgrim vibes for good measure. Throw this one on when you’re in the mood for some entertaining nonsense.
