Send Help (2026) Plot Summary
Send Help (2026) follows Linda Liddle, a capable corporate strategist who’s passed over for a long-promised promotion when a new CEO takes over. Their contentious relationship takes an unexpected turn when a disastrous plane crash leaves the two stranded on a remote island. With no immediate hope of rescue, survival forces them into an uneasy partnership in which the workplace hierarchy quickly loses its meaning. As the days stretch on and the environment grows more unforgiving, the fragile balance between cooperation and resentment becomes harder to maintain. Blending survival thriller tension with dark humor, the film explores how authority, resentment, and control shift when the structures that once defined a relationship disappear.
Send Help Quick Review
(UnDigested Watch notes)
- Rachel makes the character believable, down to the way she chews. Timeless talent and range.
- What makes a monster? Who is the real monster? How to be a predator in corporate for dummies.
- Perfect example of artistry and talent elevating simplicity beyond its ceiling.
- Character chemistry + individual je ne sais quoi does the heavy lifting.
- Requires above 0 tolerance for gore/shock humor, but worth sitting through for psychological thriller fans.
Who Will Enjoy Send Help (2026)?
Viewers drawn to psychological thrillers and survival films will love this one. It contains the stylistic shock-gore and horror elements typical of Sam Raimi, so viewers with a low tolerance may struggle—but the film is good enough that it’s worth averting your eyes now and then if you can stomach it.
